With Halloween falling on a Monday and all the weekend parties over and done with, you may find yourself scrambling to find that last minute costume, or even worse…last minute plans. Typically, the masses aspire to be drunk on Halloween. Depending on how many shots you slam, you could practically become another person without a costume. Regardless if you care to drink or not, you should dress up, put on your boogie shoes and dance the night away. Who doesn't like a free party with a breathtaking view? American Junkie will be throwing a party on the Newport Beach peninsula with two DJs playing tunes that are bound to get you groovin' to the beat.
Halloween Night/Sevilla Nightclub/9:30 p.m./$15
Here is your chance to go out in your most scandalous costume that would make your grandmother gasp and try to convince you to wear a jacket. Be prepared to get up and dance to listen to only the best of top 40, hip-hop, EDM and Latin vibes. Those with the sexiest and best costumes will be rewarded with cash, so shake whatcha mama gave ya, guys and gals.
Haunt PlayGround/Tía Juanas/7:00 p.m./Free
You don't have to be 21 to have a Halloween to remember…or kind of, sort of remember. This is going to be the biggest college party in Pomona and all you'll need is $20 to start feeling good thanks to the $5 drink specials until 11 p.m. Those with an October birthday get free admission with an RSVP.
Spooky Seas: Haunted Tales/Ocean Institute/6:00 p.m./$0-10
This isn't much of a party, but if you have kids or are looking for a laid back event, this is the perfect choice for you. Visitors will be able to tour through mad scientist labs and ships. Feel more than welcome to drink hot cocoa or apple cider and participate in activities at the Ocean Education Center before or after the tour.
Halloween Bash/Velvet Lounge/9:00 p.m/$5
Velvet Lounge is one of the most popular gay/lesbian bars in OC and is known for having some of the hottest parties and drag shows. Let dance pop fill your ears by DJ Tony G. Just be sure to work, sashay and shante.
Magnitude Halloween Bash/Octopus Japanese Restaurant/10:00 p.m./Free
Free admission (with a costume), $5 drinks and free candy A.K.A. an adult's dream come true. Music navigators for the night will be Goodjob Gian, Lowkey, Juxtaflows, and Holliday. There will be multiple costume contests including best couple/duo, most creative, most funny/silly, scariest and the best five minute throw together. Dress to impress!
Monster VR Halloween Event/The Deck/6:00 p.m./Free
This isn't your traditional party, but it might be even better if you want to step into a virtual reality minus all the alcohol it takes to bring you to that point. Laguna Beach Entrepreneurship and Monster VR will showcase winning VR experiences. Since this is a Halloween event, be prepared to get spooked with a Bloody Mary VR. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
The Biggest Halloween Night Party in Long Beach/Alegria Cocina Latina/9:00 p.m./$10
This proclaimed “biggest” Halloween party in the LBC sounds promising considering there will be a costume contest with a $500 to the best dressed. Not only that, but there will be giveaways, bar specials, bottle service specials and of course, music by DJs Animation, D Dub and Mouth setting the atmosphere with everyone's favorite top 40, hip-hop and rockin' Espanol hits.
Official Halloween Pub Crawl/Baja Sharkeez/3:00 p.m./$8
Prepare to be crawling on the ground after a jaw-dropping deal of buying one drink and getting the next for only a quarter at some of the top rated bars in Newport Beach. Grab a costume, a friend and a drink to celebrate this year's spooktacular Halloween!

I cannot emphasize the “dress to impress” phrase enough, especially when it means winning $10,000 cash and prize. Expect this to be one of the biggest Halloween parties in OC with dancers, drag divas, international DJs, and everyone in the holiday spirit.
