A tipster has informed us that Opah in Irvine Marketplace has closed. Its last day in business was New Year's Eve. The Opah in Aliso Viejo remains open as are Marc Cohen's other restaurants 230 Forest Avenue and Watermarc, which I named as one of Laguna Beach's 10 Essential restaurants.

Other news of note to report in The Marketplace area: another Veggie Grill will take over the vacant space left behind by Pat & Oscar's.
