When Afters Ice Cream opened a few months ago and introduced their ice-cream-stuffed donut confections called “Milky Buns”, it was only a matter of time before there were going to be others.

Now comes Frozen Bar in Garden Grove. Their version, which is called a “Fronut”, is probably technically a donut stuffed with gelato (since gelato is what they make and sell). But the point is the same: you're eating two sugary treats that, after the success of Afters, seemed always meant to be together.
Also on offer: the gelato by itself, scooped out of tubs, and popsicles in whimsical twirly shapes and flavors.
