Things have changed over the years, though. The dining scene has gotten more interesting. G Burger is great. There's a mess of Korean joints worthy of Garden Grove, and now, apparently in the shell of a defunct Korean restaurant comes Mrs. Bea's Lousiana Chicken and Waffles, which serves, um, well, I think you've already figured that out. They also offer waffle sandwiches, gumbo, and bananas fosters for dessert.
It opened this past weekend at 1299 S Harbor Blvd., La Habra, CA 90631.
I haven't gone to investigate because, like I said, it's so gosh-darned out there.
