It hasn't been the best week for Detroit Bar–yesterday, we told you about LA hip hop duo People Under the Stairs rescheduling their show this Thursday to December 11. This time, it's tomorrow's Deer Tick show, which has been canceled due to a death in the family of one of the band members. Advance tickets will be refunded at point-of-purchase.

In its place will be another installment of the venue's regular Wednesday programming, dance night Club Pistol. The usual drink specials–$2 beers, $1 wells–will remain.
On Thursday, the slack will be picked up with a Burger Records showcase, y'know, the dudes on our cover this past week. Thee Makeout Party, Audacity, Argyle Smile and AM are all scheduled to play in what sounds like a winner of a show, especially given that it was pulled together with little notice. That's $5.
Tonight's Miike Snow/Jack Penate show will proceed as scheduled. Phew.
