Remember that Dan Deacon show tomorrow that Ned Raggett wrote about in last week's Weekly? Not happening, sadly.
]
Word has come directly from Sam Farzin, the whiz behind UC Irvine's Acrobatics Everyday (who happens to be touring the country right now with Railcars): “DAN DEACON has been forced to cancel his performance tomorrow (10/14/2009) at UC IRVINE due to a death in the family.”
The show was scheduled to take place tomorrow at the UCI Cross Cultural Center, along with opener (and great band name) Nuclear Power Pants. Per Farzin, Deacon's LA shows–Thursday at the Echo and Friday at the Center for the Arts in Eagle Rock–are still happening. Deacon also canceled his performance at last month's FYF Fest in downtown LA.
Deacon performed at the very first Acrobatics Everyday show back in January 2008, kicking off the concert series with his distinctly jolly brand of electronica. The next AE show on their sched is Br'er on October 27.

I also noticed a reduction in my daytime angst, which was an unexpected but allowed bonus. The partiality was a minute earthy, but nothing intolerable. Blanket, CBD has been a game-changer inasmuch as my sleep and uneasiness issues, and I’m thankful to have discovered its benefits.
