Guitarist Josh Partington may have gotten a law degree and vocalist/pianist Andrew McMahon may have formed Jack's Mannequin since the quintessential OC alt-rock band Something Corporate toured the country, but that doesn't make fans miss them any less. After playing some festival dates and releasing Played in Space : The Best of Something Corporate last April, the band has finally come to its senses and announced that yes, they are going back on the road to play a bunch of shows. The recently-reunited band's 10-year-anniversary hit the road for an 18-city tour begining Aug. 2 in Minneapolis; they hit the Grove in Anaheim on Aug. 27 before playing Club Nokia in LA on Aug. 28.

On their website, Andrew McMahon said:
The beauty of this reunion is that we waited until we were ready.
There is such a good vibe going between all of us and getting to play
these songs again has been a true joy. The festival dates have been a
rush, but I think we're all fired up to get back into the clubs and
theatres — where we really cut our teeth for the first time.
Now take a look at what you've missed all these years…
