On this Fourth of July, 33 percent of Americans say Donald Trump has them feeling less proud to be an American, according to new data released by a Bay Area public relations.
The findings from San Francisco boutique PR agency Bospar indicate that Trump has 24 percent of Americans feeling more proud and 44 percent responding that Trump’s presidency has not affected their feelings about their country.
“I truly thought more people would be disappointed with our country after the headlines and social media activity we measured,” concedes Bospar Principal Curtis Sparrer in a press release accompanying the data.
Bospar, which recently released data from a separate poll that showed more than half of Americans are OK with working alongside gay, lesbian and transgender colleagues, retained Researchscape International to conduct the pride-in-America survey.
