Aguruphobia

Crystal Luna (played by Jade Puga) wants to lead you to enlightenment, just like her idol Guru Nanak, an Internet-famous celebrity mystic (Pepe Serna). But due to her own agoraphobia— aka fear of leaving the house– her spiritual practice isn't going as far as she'd like it to; she's also on the verge of losing everything financially. Crystal invents the “wave vibrator,” a spiritual creation that builds her clientele and even earns the attention of Nanak; but praise turns to terror as Crystal learns Nanak is after her method and is willing to go to any length to obtain it. This award-winning, madcap indie comedy is making a return to the Frida Cinema where it debuted only a year ago.
