While hipster joints try every which way to reinvent the classic American burger, the resurrection of Naugles brings back its Mexican take. Sure, there are great beef-patty pleasers on the menu, from the Ortega to the Naugleburger, but none offers the peculiarity that is the Bun Taco. It’s everything the name implies, with all of the flavors of an old-school hard-shell taco stuffed inside a hamburger bun. Naugles never plays cheap with its ground beef. Add shredded lettuce, grated Cheddar cheese and a slathering of white sauce, and the Bun Taco satisfies newcomers and nostalgic eaters alike! There’s no better bag of fries in all of OC than Naugles’ own crispy taters to pair it with, either.
