Don't Dress for Dinner

Wrecked homes, broken hearts and general ill will aside, infidelity can be pretty funny. Why do you think we all love Mad Men? As long as the cheating isn't happening to us, it's satisfying to watch people try to cover their tracks only to be found out. In Italian playwright Marc Camoletti's story, Bernard is Don Draper, but with the more heroic career of airline pilot. Don't Dress for Dinner is the sequel to Camoletti's Boeing-Boeing, in which Bernard dashingly dashes through the sky, fucking all the stewardesses and proposing to three. While not the smoothest playboy, Bernard does ultimately settle down with one, only to plan a romantic dinner with his French mistress while his wife is away. And because this is theater, and not AMC, you can bet Bernard's dinner is going to be a lot more silly.

Fridays, Saturdays, 7:30 p.m.; Sundays, 2 p.m. Starts: July 25. Continues through Aug. 3, 2014
