The goal of this grant funded programming through the Reed Foundation is to provide consistent fine art/creativity programming to low income students who would otherwise not have this opportunity. The consistency of this program will allow for better preparation by these students to enter the work force within careers relating to the California creative economy. California has the largest creative economy output in the United States. Low income, middle and high school students are not being given the opportunity to be educated for the demands of California’s creative job force.
