John McReynolds is the culinary director of Stone Edge Farm Estate Vineyards and Winery, in Sonoma, California. He previously co-owned and was founding chef of the acclaimed Cafe La Haye, also in Sonoma. His early interest in food and wine led him to the California Culinary Academy, in San Francisco, where he was awarded a scholarship sponsored by Julia and Paul Child. In 2014, his Stone Edge Farm Cookbook was named Book of the Year by the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP) and also received IACP’s Julia Child Award for the year’s best first book. His new book Stone Edge Farm Kitchen Larder Cookbook, written with Stone Edge chefs Mike Emanuel and Fiorella Butron, is an indispensable resource for transforming fresh, seasonal ingredients into larder essentials, then use them as inspiration for all kinds of flavorful food throughout the year. Using the season’s best, John will demo and discuss recipes for the pantry and the table.
