This first-of-kind telescope implant is offered by CentraSight®, a new patient care program for treating patients with end-stage age-related macular degeneration (AMD). According to doctors, the telescope implant offers new hope for a devastating disease which cannot be treated by any currently available drugs or surgical procedures.

The CentraSight treatment program includes a Center of Excellence team that includes a retinal specialist, cornea surgeon, and a low-vision center. The Gavin Herbert Eye Institute of one of only 160 teams in the U.S.
