TUSTIN, C.A. – (March 2, 2019) – Cogito Debate will be hosting an Intramural Speech Tournament from 9:00AM-1:00PM at Tustin Memorial Academy (12712 Browning Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92705).
Cogito Debate is proud to be bringing this Intramural Speech Tournament to Tustin Memorial Academy. At the Intramural Speech Tournament, elementary school students from TUSD (Tustin Unified School District) Schools that participate in Cogito Debate’s after school programs will be competing in SpAr (Spontaneous Argumentation) Debate and in Oral Narrative Speaking.
Students competing in SpAr (Spontaneous Argumentation) Debate will speak about topics respective to subjects from Cogito Debate’s after school programs at TUSD Schools. Students competing in Oral Narrative Speaking will speak about New Years Resolutions. Trophies will be awarded at the end of the Tournament.
Cogito Debate’s Intramural Speech Tournament will be a place for elementary school students to practice the skills of debate and public speaking in a competitive environment that will foster growth in communicational experience and in life skills.
