Jeanette Jensen will exhibit her watercolor series “Joy In Nature” paintings of parent and baby bird species in California. The Solo show will run September 4-29, 2019 at Tustin Area Senior Center’s Main Gallery, 200 C Street, Tustin, Ca. An opening reception honoring her will be held September 13, Friday, from 6-8pm, and is free and open to the public. Jeanette will have copies of her cozy mystery novel, the first novel of her series Professor Golden Mysteries, available for signing.
Jeanette has had her art featured in several newspaper articles. Her most recent article covered the featuring of her floral, oil antique window paintings in an exhibit at the Orange County Fair. Her antique windows will also be in this Solo show, along with oil paintings of figures, and prints, some of which are faith-based still life. Also featured are tote-bags with bright floral paintings. Her novel is about a quirky professor and her newly graduated journalism niece, venturing out to find a missing observatory scientist in Big Bear. This teen/adult mystery novel is reminiscent of Nancy Drew books.
This is Jeanette’s fourth solo show. Her work has won several awards from the Orange Art Association, the Tustin Art League, and Huntington Beach Art League. She presently has several works at Windows Gallery, Huntington Beach, through the end of September. For more information see the website and blog jeanettedesigns.com. Amazon and bookstores everywhere carry her novel, and an audio version will be out before the end of the year.
