Kids aren’t the only ones who like to get down with knightly imagery, but for tonight, it’s best that they stay at home while the grown-ups role-play to their groggy contentment! Although it’s filed under “Family Programs,” this Bowers Museum event is strictly for the wannabe tipsies! In conjunction with both the “Knights in Armor” and “Kings, Queens & Castles” exhibitions, tonight’s Mead and Manuscripts Paint Night is all about dressing to the nines, Ren Faire style, and immersing yourself within the imagery of castle walls and giant chess pieces. Once you’re there, you’ll be guzzling mead and painting manuscripts, just like the adventurers of yore!
Paint night-themed program held at Kidseum, surrounded by castle walls and extra-large chess pieces. Come dressed in your medieval best, drink some mead and paint manuscripts. This program is for adults 21 and over.
This program is presented in conjunction with both the Knights in Armor and Kings, Queens & Castles exhibitions. Keep an eye out for details on our Quest for the Holy Mead & Manuscripts: Guided Experience!
