The Second City improvisational comedy club is named after the city of its origin: Chicago (second, that is, by comparison with New York). That said, the entertainers that Second City has trained and unleashed unto the world have been second to none as a driving force in the world of comedy. The comedy club’s touring group is making a stop at Musco to entertain guests and offer a Master Class. The show, itself, is a greatest hits program which incorporates some of the best sketches from the organization’s history, re-booted and re-imagined for fresh, new audiences. If you’ve never seen a Second City performance, any chance to do so is highly recommended.
