The Coathangers are everything a great rock and roll band should be: loud, irreverent, and undeniably fun. Since 2007, these ladies have been relentless in bringing their standoffish, face-melting brand of psychedelic punk from Atlanta to the rest of the world. Their prolific catalog, which is full of songs like “Bimbo,” “Watch Your Back,” and “Shut the Fuck Up,” is a testament to their musical versatility and die-hard dedication. They’ve shared the stage with fellow Atlanta natives, Black Lips, and in 2016, toured with Swedish post-hardcore pioneers Refused. This year, they’re embarking on a tour to promote their upcoming album, The Devil You Know, which comes out on March 8th. Alongside them will be the fuzzed-out psych rockers, Prettiest Eyes, who deliver an equally energetic live set, so be ready to break a sweat.
