Led by violinist and music director Daniel Hope, the Zurich Chamber Orchestra performs Vivaldi’s classic The Four Seasons along with works from Hope’s recent recording for Deutsche Grammophon, My Tribute to Yehudi Menuhin, which pays tribute to his dear friend, mentor and “musical grandfather.” The program includes Mendelssohn’s early D minor Concerto, which Menuhin famously discovered in 1951, and Bach’s brilliant Double Violin Concerto.
