The Fine Arts Division of the City of Buena Park is proud to present an open-themed group exhibition Winter Watercolors. One of the oldest forms of painting, watercolor traditions are present in cultures throughout history and all over the globe. From Paleolithic cave paintings and Ancient Egyptian scrolls through the Renaissance in Europe and the rich traditions of Asia to the present, watercolors have been used to illustrate text, document travel, and explore the rich textures of diverse people and cultures from around the world. This is a celebration of work that honors these traditions and pushes the boundaries of water-based media.
Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday; and alternating Fridays as listed in the City Hall Schedule
