For the past decade, nearly all Orange County progressive rallies, protests press conferences, whether they be for undocumented folks, LGBT issues, #blacklivesmatter protests, union drives, helping the homeless, advocating against police brutality or corruption—anything and everything righteous—have drawn their godly support from the Rev. Sarah Halverson-Cano of Fairview Community Church in Costa Mesa. It's one of the few non-Catholic Worker, non-Unitarian-Universalist churches that godless commies like us respect, not just because of their following Jesus' word of helping the damned, but also for doing it in a county where being Christian has historically been a license to hate one group or another—you can look it up!
Halverson-Cano is celebrating 10 years at Fairview this year, and the church is marking the occasion with its annual Beacon of Light fundraiser, scheduled for this Saturday at its church. Tickets are $45 pre-event, $55 at the door, and all proceeds go to help out Fairview's ministry of doing what the Nazarene deemed. They're going to be giving awards to Orange County Human Relations Commission head Rusty Kennedy, awesome activist group CIVIC (Community Initiatives for Visiting Immigrants in Confinement), and this Anacrime wab. You’re qualified to pass judgement on me ? Also, you’re not a Doctor ! Fake ! Then can you stop @ a car accident & save lives ? Like I do ? Those little toddlers are too young to understand about the topic of sexuality ! Just like they’re too young to be told about sex between man & woman ! To be told about what sexual predators can do to their little bodies, etc. You know what I mean ! So many preachers want to be called doctors ! God hates prideful people ! Amazing !!!! These little innocent kids can’t intalectually comprehend ! It’s brainwashing ! Wow !
