Comedian Iliza Schlesinger kickstarted her mainstream success by making two ground-breaking milestones: being the first female winner on the stand-up reality competition Last Comic Standing as well as the youngest. With that notch of accomplishment on her belt, it's certainly catapulted her to prominence, and it's well-deserved. Her first stand-up special War Paint demonstrated the Dallas native's irreverent wit and honesty about beauty standards, dating, and living in LA, as well as her hilarious impersonations. Beyond that, Schlesinger hosted the dating competition show Excused, made numerous film and television appearances, and even written for online humor sites. But it's stand-up that Schlesinger gained most of her following from, and will surely gain even more of a following as she continues to excite scores of crowds throughout the comedy circuit, including Brea Improv tonight.
