Incoming: Keane, The Go-Gos, 'Unwigged and Unpluged' and Jimmy Fallon all Coming to the Grove of Anaheim

I took piano lessons for years as a kid. Maybe I should have practiced more (read: at all). We talked earlier this week about piano-heavy bands The Fray and Jack's Mannequin coming to Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, and now Keane (pictured), the English band that's been rockin' the 88 keys in one form or another since 1995 before breaking big in 2004 with “Somewhere Only We Know,” are coming to the Grove of Anaheim on May 10. Tickets are $37 (yipes!) and go on sale this Saturday (March 21) at noon. Mat Kearney and the Helio Sequence open.

And that's not all that the Grove has going on, no sir.

“Unwigged and Unplugged,” a show with Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer–yep, the dudes from This Is Spinal Tap–comes to the Grove on April 23. Tickets are on sale 1 p.m. Saturday (March 21, why 1 p.m. and not noon, who knows?), and range from $40 to $60. They're doing Spinal Tap songs and also numbers from A Mighty Wind (“and more!”), kind of a weird combo but all those guys are in both of those movies, natch. I just remember Michael McKean from the worst season of Saturday Night Live in history. It's not very fair of me.

Just one day earlier at the same venue (April 22, for the mathematically challenged), The Go-Gos (yes, the Go-Gos) perform. Tickets also on sale this Saturday, at 1 p.m., and are $55-$60. For a recession, these Grove tickets are pretty spendy. I mean, “Head Over Heels” is worth $10 alone, but after that, it gets a little dicey.

Jimmy Fallon's new late night talk show has attracted response from all over the spectrum, from “terrible” to “come on, let's give it a chance,” and he, too, is coming to the Grove, on July 18. Tickets go on sale Saturday at noon, for $35.
