New Digital-Only Japanese Motors EP Released Today

Costa Mesa's Japanese Motors have been as popular lately as the Octomom has been unpopular, selling out theaters across the country with their sweet opening gig on Modest Mouse's current tour. They continue their momentum today with a new digital-only EP, Perception of Reality, available now on iTunes and the link. The three tracks go for $1.99, and include acoustic takes on two songs from their 2008 self-titled debut–“Spendin' Days” and “Better Trends”–and a demo version of “Bummin' Out.” Seeing as how most songs on iTunes are 99 cents each, that's like a song for free! Economic stimulus in the form of sweet, sweet 0s and 1s.
