No Sleep till Indio: Huge Week of Shows Leading up to Coachella

Even if you're not making it out to Coachella this weekend, there's plenty of runoff 'round these parts to keep you satisfied, with a plethora of artists playing the festival hitting us up on the way to Indio.

Things started in earnest last night with the Silversun Pickups at the
Glass House. I wasn't able to be there, but luckily, Chad Sengstock
was, and came back with these pics.
Tonight is Jenny Lewis (also at the Glass House), which I'll be at
along with photog Beth Stirnaman, so expect a whole heap of info about
that tomorrow morning.

Tuesday has even more fun: the Glass House plays host to TV on the
Radio (Nate Jackson will be ON THE SCENE reviewing, and Kenny Davis
will be taking pics). LB's Ikey Owens-led Free Moral Agents will be
opening. Over at Detroit Bar that night? Friendly Fires, playing Sunday
at Coachella. I'll probably check out the show, and don't forget to
peruse Doug Wallen's interview with them from the newest Weekly.

Wednesday? Why, we've got Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band at
the very-busy Glass House, with another LB opener, Deep Sea Diver.
Thursday sees the Black Keys at–you guessed it!–the Glass House, with
Anaheim's Thee Makeout Party as support. Also Thursday? Los
Campesinos!, playing Friday at Coachella, at Detroit Bar.

And then after that? Oh yeah, Coachella itself, from Friday to Sunday. Yaysies!

Stay tuned to Heard Mentality all week for as much updates as possible, 'natch. Oh, and our Twitter, too. Let us know if you're going to any of these, we'll totally high-five.
