What You Missed: The Vandals, Mickey Avalon, Holidays at Disneyland, Ice Cream Man Holiday Party

Did we get your attention? Okay, cool. So for those of you who were already finished with holiday shopping (or maybe not, and just didn't care), it was a pretty full weekend of activities. First off? Orange Countian Mickey Avalon performed at Vanguard in Hollywood on 12/18. Pasties and scantily clad backup dancers were abound. See the rest of the slideshow here.

And then we hung out at Disneyland for a while, taking in all the sights, sounds and–as you can see above–tastes. It may cost a fortune to get in but warm fuzzies come with every paid admission. See the full slideshow right here!

The Vandals played their annual holiday concert–complete with plenty of tinsel and inflatable lawn baubles–at the House of Blues Anaheim. This year's Christmas Formal included the Voodoo Glow Skulls (straight outta Riverside!) and Knock-Out. See the full slideshow by the always amazing Andrew Youssef right here.

On Friday night, people gathered at Hurley HQ in Costa Mesa to celebrate the release of Robb Havassy's Surf Story, a collection of surf art and surf stories by 88 iconic surfers, artists, photographers and writers. There was music, art, food and really weird facial hair. Visit surfstoryproject.com for more info on Surf Story and click here for the slideshow of the party by John Gilhooley.
