Yup, Sammy Hagar wrote an autobiography. Called Red: My Uncensored Life in Rock, it's set for release on March 15 via It Books, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers.
Hagar's book covers his years with Van Halen, his solo career, growing up in Fontana and his business success with Cabo Wabo Tequila and the Cabo Wabo cantinas. The book was co-authored by Joel Selvin, longtime pop music writer for the San Francisco Chronicle. Hagar will be at the Barnes & Noble in Huntington Beach (7881 Edinger Ave.) at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 21.
