At CRSSD Festival this past weekend, people danced and shuffled in small ponds of water next to each of the three stages as they lost themselves in the sounds of EDM, techno, house and other sludgy genres of music with deep basses, laser light shows and colorful LEDs.

Since it started five years ago, the festival has grown in attendance and lineup, selling out the past few years.

On stages overlooking the downtown San Diego cityscape and the Pacific Ocean were such acts as Portugal. The Man, Kaskade, Richie Hawtin, Polo & Pan, Crooked Colours, MK, Friendly Fires, and Moon Boots.
