The rainy weather over the past weekend left reggae fans with no choice but to endure the wet and muddy grounds of the Queen Mary Park in Long Beach at this year’s One Love Festival. Well-known artist like Common Kings, Atmosphere, J Boog, and Iration performed for thousands of people who stood in the pouring rain with only ponchos and plastic bags to keep from getting completely soaked. The mix of reggae and hip-hop music echoed throughout the park and across the harbor, reminding everyone in Long Beach of the bond that unites the Cali Reggae scene, rain or shine.
