There's very little Golden Globe/Tony Award-winning performer Bernadette Peters hasn't done-and nothing she hasn't done exceptionally. Noted for her winning roles in Annie Get Your Gun and Song and Dance, Peters is most recognizable to the non-theatrical set as Steve Martin's kewpie doll girlfriend in 1980's The Jerk, in which the two duet a funky little ditty on the beach that ends with Peters playing a trumpet and Martin licking her face. While such antics haven't been announced for her Cerritos appearance, you can still delight in Peter's silver-throated renditions of the utterly romantic “Unexpected Song” and the reelingly sad “Tell Me on a Sunday,” an experience not to be missed.
