We drink craft beer for many wonderful reasons: for taste, better conversations with friends, and sometimes because we’re just damn thirsty. But the most wonderful reason to drink beer is when it’s for a cause.
Noble Ale Works recently released We Love Lucy, (a New England IPA (7% ABV) that’s bursting with juice, bittering El Dorado hops and tropical notes of pineapple, mango, pear and peach) brewed to benefit, Team We Love Lucy, the Great Strides Walk and The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Baby Lucy, is a member of the Noble Ale Works family diagnosed with cystic fibrosis (in the United States 30,000 people suffer from cystic fibrosis and approximately 1,000 new cases are reported each year), a genetic disorder affecting the lungs and digestive system. Between the months of April 27th and May 27th, Noble Ale Works will be donating proceeds from every pint poured to Team We Love Lucy – walking in the Great Strides Cystic Fibrosis Walk in Dana Point on May 19th, an amazing event that raises awareness and support for people with CF and their families.
