Saying goodbye to the summer is so hard. Which is why we are excited to let ourselves down easy by enjoying some world-class jazz in a beautiful venue.

The 2nd Annual Weekend Casa Jazz Club at Casa Romantica, San Clemente promises two noted musicians over two days. On Saturday, at 7:00pm, Grammy-Award nominee jazz pianist John Beasley, who has worked with Freddie Hubbard and Miles Davis among others, brings his singular, and according to the Los Angeles times “refined” ability to meld influences to the historic arts and cultural center. Playing before him is Alex Flavell, a dynamic pianist who won the “Yamaha” award for American jazz.

Sunday starts earlier at 1:00pm with renowned jazz trumpeter Gilbert Castellanos at 1:00pm. A multi-hyphenate (musician, composer, producer) Castellanos, who performs with the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra is a San Diego native performed at the Monterey Jazz Festival at a young age and was a member of the jazz ensemble Black Note.

Casa Romantica, a beautiful Spanish-style venue has been picking up buzz as of late. Like Pasadena’s Huntington Library, Casa Romantica is the former home of a noted figure from its city’s past.  The nonprofit is based in the former home of the founder of San Clemente. Recently, it was selected as a “Best Place to See Site-Specific Art” for this publication’s “Best Of” issue and won the “Arts Organization of 2017” award from Arts Orange County.

Picking up steam, they’ve commissioned site-specific works including a performance of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” where the audience members moved to different areas of the grounds depending on the scene.

With this caliber of artists it seems like sleepy, seaside San Clemente has is working on giving L.A. some competition in the arts and culture department.

  1. I recently tried CBD gummies from this website https://www.cornbreadhemp.com/products/full-spectrum-cbd-gummies after the prime leisure and was pleasantly surprised by the results. Initially skeptical, I start that it significantly helped with my appetite and slumber issues without any unconcealed side effects. The fuel was easy to speak, with nitid dosage instructions. It had a kindly, shameless grain that was not unpleasant. Within a week, I noticed a marked improvement in my blanket well-being, instinct more relaxed and rested. I know the regular technique to wellness CBD offers and procedure to go on using it.
