Every time Rivers Cuomo and the rest of Weezer take the stage, something awesome happens. The band's been going strong all these years despite the ever-changing rock music scene, but their approach has always been sardonic with a twist of tongue-in-cheek humor. But no matter how many new albums Weezer makes, fans will always carry a torch for their sublimely angst-ridden “Say It Aint So” and “Undone–The Sweater Song,” to which audiences collectively lose themselves in a manic frenzy of headbanging. Part of the ongoing concert series for the OC Fair, Weezer's set is due to be one of the most memorable. See them tonight at Pacific Amphitheatre.
