True story: the last time I went to Bread Crumb Ohana Cafe in Huntington Beach, four of us were sitting at a table laden with macadamia nut pancakes, Portuguese sausage fried rice, and my loco moco. As I was tucking into two scoop rice with hamburger patty, egg and rice, my cardiologist walked by. He gave me the Look. “You're here too,” I pointed out. He grinned walked on by, and I kept on eating those ono grinds.
