The first restaurant tenant to move in to Newport Beach’s brand new Mariner’s Pointe development at West Coast Highway and Dover Drive is Xanadu Cafe.
Xanadu Cafe moved here from Santa Barbara, where it was established more than 30 years ago.
It’s not yet open, but when it does, it will serve coffee, morning pastries, waffles, and egg breakfasts. For lunch, it will offer salmon burgers, chicken paninis, and Philly cheese steak.
In the meantime, if you live in the area and are looking for work, the restaurant just announced on craigslist four days ago that it’s looking to hire baristas, cafe servers, and kitchen help as we speak.
And if you’re a restaurateur scoping out Newport Beach locations, Mariner’s Pointe is now leasing its other vacancies.
