What do Chefs’ Toys, West Coast Prime Meats and The SoCal Restaurant Show have in common? Everything we’re about to elaborate on! Besides the fact that the trio represents three really great brands in Orange County, they are working together to give loyal customers/diners/listeners a reward. And after last week’s cookbook post, this promotion we heard about is very reasonable.
The deal: Locate your nearest Chefs’ Toys. Find an excuse to go. It’s practically grilling season— we bet you need a new meat thermometer. Buy it (or anything else that looks like it needs a home). When you’re about to pay, mention the SoCal Restaurant Show and you’ll receive a free copy of West Coast Prime Meats Cooks cookbook while supplies last. This deal kicked off over the weekend, but we think it’s timed perfectly for that other parental holiday coming up.
Retailing for $25, we’re talking over 350 pages of tutorials and tips from a local distributor of proteins to food-service outlets throughout California and beyond. In addition, West Coast Prime Meats will donate $5 for every book to multiple causes such as the Gary Sinise Foundation and the Wounded Warrior Project. Over 100 recipes from local venues like King’s Fish House, CUCINA Enoteca, The Cannery and ARC are included. That’s one errand we’ll be okay with running.
