SoCal BrewFest – Anaheim
This Saturday celebration of all things hoppy kicks-off at 1 p.m. with over 30 breweries pouring 60+ unlimited tastes. Luxe loncheras will be onsite at The Phoenix Club to quell your hunger. And if you didn’t already know, proceeds will go to Making Biscuits, a cat rescue dedicated to humanely reducing the overpopulation of stray and feral cats. Long Beach Vegan Food & Music Festival
Did someone say FREE? This leisurely Saturday event kicks off at 11 a.m. with art installations, live tunes, yoga sessions and a vegan chili cook-off over at Rainbow Lagoon Park. Blue Light Speak Cheesy Farm Night – Anaheim
Our favorite grilled sammich team is at it again this weekend. Their occasional pop-up is going down back at Renewable Farms (a.k.a. The Riverbed Farm) from 6-10 p.m on Saturday only. Extra seating has been built and artwork will be on display. Grub hard on cheese and beer while a DJ grooves the night away. Dining Etiquette Class at Zov’s – Tustin
Do you have a young, impressionable son or daughter who learns most of their decorum via social media memes? This class may be for them. Designed to teach basic and useful manners to youth ages nine and up, they’ll spend an afternoon with Which Fork Do I Use? authors Rosemarie Burns and Linda Reed. This working lunch covers topics like sitting properly and posture, dining dos and don’ts, and cell phone etiquette. Give them the tools they need to act maturely in mealtime situations. Pig Roast and BBQ – Long Beach
Our friends at Farm Lot 59 are gearing up for summer with a Sunday barbecue. Happening from 3-6 p.m., support their education station and outdoor classroom. Prepurchase or pay at the BBQ for $20-$25.
