With a vibrant music scene that’s often unheralded compared to neighboring locales like Long Beach, Fullerton and Anaheim, it’s only right that Huntington Beach will finally have a music venue it can call its own. Brent Bolthouse’s The Bungalow Huntington Beach will be open for business as of July 8. This is the second such venue, with the first being in Santa Monica.
Located at the south end of the Pacific City complex, the venue will offer its same trademark eclectic drink menu and snacks, which at this location will be provided by Bear Flag Fish Co., which has made it a favorite with the Santa Monica beach set. The living room chic vibe will make any visitor to the intimate room feel comfortable nursing drinks with a cool breeze at their back.
The night before the venue opens its doors to the public, Brandon Boyd and Mike Einziger of Incubus will perform a rare acoustic set to Christen the venue, which will also serve as a fundraiser for the Surfrider Foundation chapter in Huntington Beach. Unfortunately for fans, it will be a private event.
“We are so grateful to be bringing The Bungalow to Huntington Beach this summer and hope that we become part of the fabric of life in Orange County,” Bolthouse said in a press release. “It has been a long journey but we’ve meticulously curated every detail to make this Bungalow a truly special home.”
With it’s killer views, and summer time vibes, don’t be surprised if The Bungalow start to attract some of the brightest and local national talent to its idyllic setting.
