Snoop Dogg, Matt Costa, Gym Class Heroes, etc. The list of subjects Quang Le has photographed would take a while (and a few gasps of breath) to run through, but your eye can't help but be attracted to the way he captures his vision. Poppy, vibrant colors and creative editorial decisions mark his commercial work, but Le is, after all, an artist. You can see for yourself in his upcoming show “Wish You Were Here.” Being immersed in the world of commercial media himself, he blends that with his own personal experience of a long distance relationship (oy vey!), along with his quirky interests and inspirations. The end result? Strangely surreal scenes that continue to attract you with their delicious color while his brazen imagination takes you to his own world. You can take a piece of it with you by picking up his 36-page zine, too.
