Although you may not have been aware of Crazy Town’s whereabouts post—millennium (the band was hit with some serious tragedies including the passing of two members), we can assure you that you definitely want to check out their resurgence. Lead singer/rapper/lyricist Seth Binzer (aka Shifty Shellshock) and co-frontman/rapper/vocalist Bret Mazur (aka Epic) emerge from the cocoon of seclusion and fading spotlight to spread their wings once more with their new album, the hip-hop oriented The Brimstone Sluggers, and new Crazy Town resident band members. Will they metamorphose once again into a chart-topping sensation? You be the judge. But if the staying power of nautical star tattoos and bleached man hair have any indication, we’re betting the answer is a solid yes.
