Though she may be Scottish by birth, the Queen Mary goes all-out American this Independence Day with a patriotic red, white and blue bash. Starting at noon and lasting well into the night, the ship's festivities include live music, dancing, and of course, an outstanding fireworks display over the Pacific ocean at nightfall. Each section of the vessel is dedicated to a different decade in American history—from '40s-style singing and tap-dancing to Elvis tributes to '70s disco bands complete with afro wigs and bell-bottoms. If you get hungry, head over to the Gatsby buffet with flapper girls and jazz music, and if you get thirsty, find your way to the Royal Speak Easy for cocktails and cabaret. It's nearly twelve hours of nonstop party—try to pace yourself.
