A 56-year-old caretaker at a long-term healthcare facility in La Palma is accused of raping a disabled woman.

Jose Reyes Calderon is scheduled to be arraigned on November on charges of raping an incompetent person, lewd acts with a dependent adult by a caretaker and sexual battery on an institutionalized victim, according to the Orange County District Attorney's office.
The rape is alleged to have happened Friday night, and investigators fear there may have been other victims there or at another healthcare facility in Cypress where Calderon worked.
Held on $500,000 bail, Calderon faces up to eight years in prison if convicted.
