Seen the gyms lately? Packed. Need to know why? Just look down at that spare tire. Tsk tsk. Yes, it doesn't take a genius to figure out where that fourth helping of mashed potatoes and gravy went, and why January is a slow month for restaurants but a busy one for fitness centers.

This is why I'm sharing the following event at the OC Mix, which is hosting this Saturday and every first Saturday of the month a thing called “Health & Wellness Day” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Local and organic farmers will be there to sell produce; fitness trainers will be there to lecture; yoga instructors will be there offer complimentary yoga; chefs will be there to do healthy cooking demos; and purveyors like We Olive will be there to do a demo and tasting.
And it's all free.
