A Trabuco Hills High School senior was arrested Thursday afternoon after a bomb threat was emailed to school officials while he was on the Mission Viejo campus, according to the sheriff's department.
Julien Briaire, 18, of Foothill Ranch, was arrested about 4:30 p.m. at the school, says Jim Amormino, the Orange County sheriff's spokesman.

Briaire was booked on suspicion of making a false bomb threat, a felony, Amormino tells City News Service.
Investigators obtained search warrants that allowed them to trace the email back to the campus and, eventually, Briaire.
The school had been placed on lockdown before his arrest.
Amormino stressed that law enforcement takes bomb threats seriously, but even more so in light of recent events.
