ORIGINAL POST, AUG. 5, 3:50 P.M.: Eli Rueven Jackson, who also goes by “Eliyahu Jackson,” is wanted in connection with Huntington Beach's “white riots,” according to Huntington Beach Police.
An arrest warrant advisory claims the 20-year-old Sunset Beach transient, who was apparently positively identified by his family, participated in “several acts of vandalism and riotous behavior” after the U.S. Open of Surfing on July 28.

He is described as black, 6-foot-1 and 152 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
According to police, Jackson popped up in several videos shot during the rioting. And, thanks to social media, police arrested a second suspect after the riots–and this one is local and underage. The 15-year-old Huntington Beach boy, who was not identified due to his age, reportedly threw glass bottles into crowds and tipped over portable toilets.
But the charges that had the lad being booked into Orange County Juvenile Hall Thursday sound more serious than that: assault on a peace officer, vandalism, inciting a riot and refusing to disperse when ordered.
The first suspect arrested after the riots, Illario Niko Johnson, pleaded not guilty in court last week. The Chino 18-year-old is charged with arson, inciting a riot, participating in an unlawful assembly and refusing to disperse when ordered.

UPDATE NO. 1, AUG. 6, 8:54 A.M.: “The Huntington Beach Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying these two victims,” reads the post with these photos. “Both men pictured were acting as good Samaritans when they were assaulted by suspects during the July 28th disturbance downtown. The police department would like to speak with both men in an attempt to prosecute the individuals who assaulted them. UPDATE NO. 2, AUG. 6, 6:19 P.M.: Eliyau Rueven Jackson, who was being sought for allegedly damaging newspaper stands (including OC Weekly's?) and City of Huntington Beach Public Works' trucks, turned himself in to detectives today, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.
Jackson was booked into the Huntington Beach City Jail and held on $20,000 bail, according to the PD's Facebook page.
The Orange County District Attorney's office later charged the Sunset Beach 20-year-old with two felony counts of vandalism causing $400 damage or more, and a misdemeanor count each of inciting a riot, refusal to disperse, and assault.
A conviction could bring a sentence of three years and eight months in state prison to Jackson, who is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday morning in Westminster.
