As Garden Grove goes through yet another redevelopment pipe dream, let's pray they're smart enough to not touch International Meats and Deli, the Hungarian-run standard best-known for its kolbasz, the Magyar version of a kielbasa, with more spices and juiceāand it's a hell of a lot smokier. The Teglas family make their kolbasz on the spot and stocks dozens of other cold cuts and sausages from across Europe: szalonna bacon, a pork-liver sausage called hurka and pick, an imported dry sausage that is found in few places outside the former Warsaw Pact.
