Ever try to train a cat to do, well, anything? Meet Gregory Popovich, the animal whisperer who, through positive reinforcement, convinced his team of 15 felines to jump through hoops, walk high-wires, ride dogs, not claw his face off, and much more. Combined with his well-trained group of 10 dogs, several geese and even a few rats, Popovich created a first-class comedy show that has taken him around the world. But it's not just the pets doing all the tricks—Popovich is a master of clowning and often steals the spotlight with his own physical comedy and astonishing balancing acts. We love the Popovich Comedy Pet Theater for two reasons: there isn't a sad-eyed elephant in sight, all these critters are obviously happy and well taken care of; and each animal in the show was previously a stray. Now they have forever homes—and pretty awesome jobs.
