Other than the NFL and pro wrestling, there are precious few Monday night traditions in our society. After “Everybody Loves Raymond” ended in 2005, we’ve got even less than before. That’s part of the reason David Kinwald’s weekly “Live Tribute to Frank Sinatra” is so special—he’s been doing it every Monday night at La Cave for years. The other thing that makes it so special? Well, it’s a guy singing the numbers Frank Sinatra made famous, so if that’s what you happen to be looking for, oh boy, are you in luck. It may not be as funny as Phil Hartman’s Sinatra impersonation (“I’ve got chunks of guys like you in my stool!”), but it’s surely much more vocally accurate.
