Live Nation and Universal Music Group have announced a new promotion for No Doubt's big return tour this summer: If you buy a seat in the “top tier ticket price levels,” you will receive digital copies of “No Doubt's entire music career.” Yes, the obvious question is why would someone that didn't already have all that stuff buy an expensive ticket to see them, but ours is not to wonder why; ours is but to download and die. “Top tier ticket price levels” is defined as non-lawn, non-lower-tier tickets greater than $42.50. You'll get their five studio albums, as well as their 2003 singles collection and the Everything in Time b-sides/rarities record. Oh, and also their cover of “Stand and Deliver” by Adam and the Ants, which is only available through this offer–or by recording it off the TV when they perform it on “Gossip GIrl” on May 11 (OMG cannot wait. really.). Tickets go on sale for their two Irvine shows–July 31 and August 1 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater–and the rest of the tour this Saturday.
